Our experience staying at a capsule hotel was nothing like I expected it to be. Please don't let this video stop you from staying at a capsule hotel next time you're in Tokyo! There are much nicer hotels, but messed up and went to the wrong capsule hotel! I found a nice one on Trip Advisor, but we put the wrong address into our maps and we ended up a super gross capsule hotel. We didn't realize we had checked into the wrong hotel until it was too late! To stay at the capsule hotel you pay with a vending machine. We couldn't get our money back so we were stuck there for tonight. Unfortunately, they still allow smoking inside, so that didn't make our sleepless night any better. It was pretty much a nightmare experience, but we tried to make the most of it! If you want to know what it's like to stay at a really gross capsule hotel in Tokyo, Japan check out this VLOG!
