A U.S. E-3 Sentry AWACS aircraft was damaged during a strike on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. The aircraft, a critical airborne command and surveillance platform, was among several assets impacted. Additional aircraft were also damaged, and between 10 and 12 U.S. service members were injured, according to reports. Officials are continuing to assess the extent of the damage and the operational impact.
