South Africa's aviation regulator has issued its first statement on the low-altitude Airlink flypast over Cape Town's DHL Stadium — and it stopped short of any compliance finding. SACAA confirmed the required simulator rehearsals took place but says it's now waiting on Airlink for more information before reaching a position, while Airlink has already pulled the plug on a planned third flypast in Johannesburg.
