On February 18, 2026, a Delta Air Lines flight at Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport was preparing for departure when a passenger suddenly moved toward the front of the aircraft, triggering an immediate security response. Early reports suggested a cockpit breach. Delta later confirmed there was no contact with the flight deck and no attempt to access it. The aircraft returned to the gate, law enforcement boarded, and the passenger was detained.
