Heartworm doesn't do anything groundbreaking beyond the tried and true formula, but it's a loveletter full of heart to survival horror of old. Heartworm has some of the best camera usage outside of the classic Resident Evil and Silent Hill titles. Heartworm is a bit on the easy side, from combat, to resource management, to the puzzles. But Heartworm's plot helps make up for some of those shortcomings. A story of a young woman dealing with grief and loss of a family member. Heartworm's story is personal, sincere and full of heart.
