This is a quick guide trying to improve performance in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 while we wait for optimization patches, mainly geared towards low-mid specs users - because I'm one of them :( No miracles here unfortunately, but small improvements! I'm still trying out things as we speak so I'll keep updating all the stuff below. ***My final settings for potatoes*** https://imgur.com/xfs7gzL *** Mouse smoothing / Input lag fix *** (AppData is a hidden folder you need to enable hidden folder view) Go to "C:\Users\"user name"\AppData\Local\Stalker2\Saved\Config\Windows\Input.ini" (Folder name will be "WinGDK" for the Game pass version) And paste then save: [/script/engine.inputsettings] bEnableMouseSmoothing=False bViewAccelerationEnabled=False *** Mod I tried*** https://www.nexusmods.com/stalker2heartofchornobyl/mods/2 Worked after manually clearing my cache in "C:\Users\"user name"\AppData\LocalLow\NVIDIA\PerDriverVersion\DXCache" and restarting my computer. No big gains but game feels smoother.
