The other day, we hosted a special production for Eurovision’s official YouTube channel, where our Danish entrant Søren Torpegaard meets the house singers from DR Vokalensemblet in a music video recorded in Studio 2. Together, they reinterpret Celine Dion’s iconic winning song *Ne partez pas sans moi*—but in a special Danish version full of intensity and presence. Singing in Danish is a deliberate choice for Søren: “I speak Danish, I dream in Danish, and I express myself best in Danish.” That’s why he sticks to his own language all the way—even with his sights set on Europe’s biggest stage and millions of viewers.
