Welcome to A World of Sound. In A World of Sound, we transform the beautiful studios of the DR Concert Hall into one large immersive universe, where pupils journey through three enchanting worlds: the savannah, the snow and the deep ocean. Experience some of the most beautiful and unusual sounds—as if you were an elephant, a snowy owl or a giant whale. Music and sound go hand in hand: a giant snowy owl plays the cello, while five musicians beneath the sea create sounds and rhythms that can be heard across vast distances—if you are a whale, that is. At the beginning of the experience, the pupils are given headphones through which they will hear an audio story as they move through the different worlds. They are also guided by a host, ensuring that the entire experience feels safe and calm. The pupils walk around without shoes, but it is not cold.
