Fabio Luisi: 10 Years with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra Fabio Luisi has now been Chief Conductor of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra for 10 years. We celebrate the anniversary by looking back at the beginning of a strong collaboration that has helped elevate the orchestra to become one of the world’s leading symphony orchestras. What does it mean to “love the last note”? From day one, Luisi has had two clear priorities in his work with the orchestra: phrasing and the beauty of sound. But how do Luisi and the orchestra work with these ideas? And what does the orchestra sound like 10 years later? Hear Fabio Luisi and members of the orchestra reflect on their collaboration.
