His value depends heavily on timing, frontline choice, shields, and what the enemy is doing to you. In this Hero Wars Dominion Era guide, Zeus from Olympus breaks down Orm’s Ruinous Bond after real battle testing, including the fight where he dealt 11 million damage and one-shot Solaris. 🌀 ORM BUILD My current Orm is: - Level 130 - Default Skin maxed - All 3 Artifacts at Level 130 - Artifacts still at 5 Stars - Primordial Skin not available yet The missing upgrades come from the Orm event, so his final damage can still go higher. ⚙️ RUINOUS BOND Orm links a front ally to a central enemy for 6 seconds. The linked ally takes only: 20% of incoming damage The remaining: 80% is accumulated and dealt to the linked enemy when the bond ends. This means Ruinous Bond does two jobs at once: 1. Protects your frontline 2. Converts enemy damage into a counterattack 🛡️ 80% DAMAGE REDUCTION This is the most reliable part of Orm’s kit. For six seconds, your linked front Titan takes only one fifth of the incoming damage. That protection works even when the damage payout is poor. So Orm always gives value. 💥 HOW ORM DEALS DAMAGE Orm does not create damage by himself. He reflects the damage your front Titan would have taken. That means: The harder the enemy hits you, the harder Orm hits back. Against weaker offensive teams, his damage can be low. Against aggressive teams, the payout can become enormous. 🔢 REAL DAMAGE NUMBERS In most of my testing, Orm dealt around: 4–7 million damage That is the realistic range. He is usually not a pure one-shot Titan. He is more of a: Finisher But in one battle, Orm dealt: 11 MILLION and killed Solaris instantly. ☀️ WHY SOLARIS TOOK 11 MILLION In that battle, Orm linked Sigurd. The bond activated just after Sigurd’s shield disappeared. During those six seconds, Sigurd took huge damage from: - Water Totem - Light Totem Orm banked that damage and dropped it all onto Solaris. Timing created the 11M hit. 🚫 SHIELDS ARE BAD FOR ORM This is one of the most important findings. If your linked Titan has an active shield: - Damage is absorbed - Very little gets accumulated - Ruinous Bond deals almost nothing Sigurd is not necessarily bad with Orm. But: Sigurd WITH his shield active is bad for Orm. The best timing is right after the shield ends. 🌍 EARTH IS ORM’S BIGGEST PROBLEM Earth causes problems on both sides. On your team: An Earth barrier prevents damage from reaching the linked Titan. That means: No damage taken → No damage stored → Weak Ruinous Bond On the enemy team: If an Earth barrier is active when Ruinous Bond detonates, Orm can damage himself instead. That makes Earth one of his strongest counters. 💀 ORM STILL WORKS AFTER DEATH If Orm dies while Ruinous Bond is active: The accumulated damage still triggers. Killing Orm does not cancel the payout. 🔄 WHAT IF THE FRONT TITAN DIES? If the linked ally dies during the six seconds: - Ruinous Bond ends - Stored damage triggers immediately - No more damage can accumulate So you want a frontline Titan that can survive the full duration. 🎯 WHAT IF THE ENEMY DIES? If the linked enemy dies before the bond expires: The stored damage is wasted. This can happen, but in my testing it was rare. 🧠 BEST WAY TO USE ORM Orm works best when: - Your front Titan takes heavy damage - That Titan survives the full 6 seconds - No shield is active - You are not fighting Earth barriers - The enemy target survives long enough for the payout That is why Orm is a team-building Titan. ✅ FINAL VERDICT Orm is best described as: Guaranteed protection + conditional execution Every cast gives you strong frontline protection. The damage depends on timing and matchup. Get it right, and Orm can remove an enemy Titan from the battlefield.
