Robin arrives with the Mead Festival on October 4, and this new pet is built almost entirely around one of the most important mechanics in Hero Wars Dominion Era: energy. In this video, Zeus from Olympus breaks down Robin’s active skills, patronage skill, possible counters, best heroes to pair him with, and how to unlock him during the upcoming event. 🐴 WHO IS ROBIN? Robin is a new winged pet coming to Hero Wars Dominion Era with the Mead Festival. His entire kit revolves around: - Stealing enemy energy - Giving energy to allies - Punishing bonus energy - Accelerating hero ultimates through patronage That makes Robin very different from many existing pets. ⚡ ON BORROWED WINGS Robin’s ultimate steals energy from enemy heroes and transfers it to the ally who has received the least energy recently. That means Robin doesn’t simply give energy randomly. He helps the hero who is falling behind. This could be extremely important for heroes whose ultimates normally activate too late. 🔄 COUNTERFLOW Robin’s second active skill is Counterflow. When an enemy receives bonus energy, Robin reduces that hero’s Physical and Magic Attack for several seconds. This means Robin could be especially useful against teams built around bonus-energy mechanics. Possible examples include: - Dante with Cain - Orion - Polaris Against teams that do not receive bonus energy, this skill may have much less impact. 🧠 WHAT COUNTS AS BONUS ENERGY? Normal energy generated through: - Basic attacks - Taking damage - Using skills - Killing enemies does not count as bonus energy. Bonus energy comes from effects that specifically grant extra energy, including certain hero skills and pet abilities. That distinction is important for understanding exactly when Robin’s Counterflow will activate. 🌬️ FAIR WIND — ROBIN’S PATRONAGE SKILL Robin’s patronage skill is Fair Wind. It grants bonus energy to the patronized hero once every few seconds. This opens several interesting possibilities, especially for heroes who benefit heavily from reaching their ultimate faster. 🦸 HEROES ROBIN CAN PATRONIZE Robin can patronize: - Nebula - Byrna - Somna - Astaroth - Amira - Martha - Folio - Fafnir Several of these could become very interesting with more frequent ultimates. Nebula gains another energy-oriented patronage option. Byrna and Somna could reach their ultimates faster. Amira may become much more dangerous with additional energy generation. But one hero stands out in particular. ❤️ ROBIN + MARTHA Martha may be one of Robin’s most interesting partners. Her biggest weakness has always been energy generation. Because she usually sits safely in the backline and takes little damage, her ultimate can arrive late. Robin directly attacks that problem. Fair Wind gives Martha bonus energy on a timer. Robin’s ultimate can also transfer stolen energy to the ally who has received the least energy recently. That could often be Martha. Combined with Martha’s upcoming Ascension Skills, Robin may help her reach her team-speed ultimate much earlier in battle. That interaction will be one of the first things we test when Robin becomes available. 🏹 ROBIN & HUNTER TEAMS Robin may also fit naturally into Hunter teams. Eva already interferes with enemy energy through Hunter’s Mark. Adding Robin’s energy stealing and bonus-energy punishment could give Hunter compositions even more control over when enemy ultimates activate. The actual strength will depend heavily on Robin’s final numbers. 🪨 HOW TO UPGRADE ROBIN Robin uses: - Moonstone - Dawnstone Many long-time players already have large amounts of these resources saved. That could make Robin much easier to develop than a completely new resource system would have been. 🍺 HOW TO GET ROBIN Robin arrives with the Mead Festival beginning October 4. The event is a refreshed version of the Autumn Festival. Players complete quests to earn Barrel Keys. Guild members use those keys together to upgrade the Barrel. Rewards include: - Robin Soul Stones - Asgard Mead - Event resources - Additional rewards The event also includes new generators. As always, calculate the cost and reward of each generator stage before investing heavily. ✅ ROBIN SUMMARY Robin is an energy-control pet. His kit can: - Steal enemy energy - Give energy to slower allies - Punish bonus-energy teams - Feed bonus energy through patronage - Potentially improve Martha dramatically - Add another control layer to Hunter teams The biggest unknown right now is the exact numerical strength of his abilities.
