No Energy Crystals are required for this chapter, so we can jump straight into building our team and fighting. ⚔️ WHAT THIS VIDEO IS ABOUT In this Hero Wars: Dominion Era walkthrough, I complete Chapter 1 of the Astrid and Lucas event and show every important decision along the way. We begin with Astrid & Lucas and Byrna already available in the Development Shop. From there, the goal is to create the strongest possible team while managing our Stall Coins carefully. My early card packs gave me Arachne and Adam, immediately giving us the foundation for the team I wanted to build. As the chapter progressed, the final lineup became: 🛡️ Galahad ⚔️ Adam 🕷️ Arachne 🔥 Byrna 🐰 Astrid & Lucas This combination performed extremely well throughout Chapter 1. 💰 DEVELOPMENT SHOP STRATEGY A huge part of this adventure is deciding when to buy, refresh, pin, or sell cards. Throughout the run, I focused heavily on upgrading Adam and Arachne while gradually developing Galahad, Byrna, and Astrid & Lucas. I also used the shop's pin mechanic whenever an important card appeared but I didn't have enough Stall Coins available. Eventually, Arachne, Adam, Byrna, and Galahad were completely maxed. Astrid & Lucas were the final heroes I needed, leading to a tense series of refreshes while my Stall Coins continued dropping. 😅 🐾 PETS & FINAL TEAM SETUP Before fighting the final boss, I completed the team's pet setup. Oliver went to Galahad, Cain supported Adam, Vex was assigned to Astrid & Lucas, Mara went to Arachne, and Biscuit supported Byrna. For the overall team pet, I selected Khorus. With the team ready, it was time for the Chapter 1 boss: Somna. 🔥 THE SOMNA BOSS FIGHT The final battle ended up going extremely well. Once Arachne stunned Somna, we gained control of the fight and never gave it back. The entire team survived, and Chapter 1 was completed without losing a single hero in the boss battle. 🏆 CHAPTER 1 GRAND PRIZE Completing the chapter rewarded: • 10,000 Valor Coins • 1 Medallion • 1 Chest of Soul Stones And because Chapter 1 doesn't require Energy Crystals, you can start progressing through these battles immediately. 💡 KEY TAKEAWAYS The combination of Galahad, Adam, Arachne, Byrna, and Astrid & Lucas worked extremely well for my run. Adam provided huge offensive power, while Arachne's control became especially valuable against Somna. Managing Stall Coins is also important. Don't blindly refresh the Development Shop. Pin valuable cards when necessary, sell cards you don't need, and focus your resources on completing the heroes that actually matter for your team. ⚔️ WHY THIS MATTERS These adventures aren't only about winning individual fights. Your Development Shop decisions determine how strong you'll be when you finally reach the boss. Seeing the complete Chapter 1 run should help you understand which heroes I prioritized, which pets I selected, how I spent Stall Coins, and how the final team performed against Somna.
