The game has changed a lot. New heroes, new titans, a sixth Titan element, Summoner Titans, Totem Fusion, Area of Conquest, Territory of Titans, Ascension Seasons, new raid bosses, monthly Mysterious Island maps, Prestige changes, and server merges have completely reshaped how the game works. In this returning player guide, Zeus from Olympus breaks down the biggest changes you need to understand before jumping back in. 🦸 NEW HEROES Over the last two years, many new heroes have joined Dominion Era, including: Augustus Folio Lyria Guus Cascade Electra von Grave Fluffy Byrna Adam Somna Eva There have also been crossover heroes such as: Lara Croft Ninja Turtles New heroes now arrive at a fairly steady pace, while older releases gradually become available through the Soul Atrium. So missing a hero at launch does not mean losing access forever. 🐴 NEW PET: ROBIN Robin is the newest pet and the first new pet in years. He brings new patronage options and Energy-based mechanics that can noticeably change certain teams. Returning players may find that old pet assignments are no longer automatically optimal. ⚔️ SUMMONER TITANS Titan team building has changed dramatically with Summoner Titans. Examples include: Verdoc & Phyto Asherona & Pyro Tidus & Gelo Lumira & Apollo Umbra & Caligo Valdur & Echo For totem activation, a Summoner counts as: Two Titans That means one Summoner plus one additional Titan of the same element can activate certain totems. This has opened new dual-element Titan combinations and changed team construction significantly. 🌀 DISTORTION – THE SIXTH TITAN ELEMENT Hero Wars now has a sixth Titan element: Distortion It launched with: Alecto Valdur & Echo Distortion focuses heavily on: Crowd control Enemy repositioning Backline pressure It is strong against Light and Dark, while being weaker against the three original elemental types. 🔮 TOTEM FUSION Totems received one of the biggest system expansions. Every Totem now has: Base skill Elemental Fusion skill slot Primal Fusion skill slot Fusion uses Catalysts. The results are random, although there is bad-luck protection. These bonuses may look small individually, but in close Titan fights they can decide the outcome. 💠 OLD TOTEM SPHERES HAVE A NEW USE Spare Totem fragments and spheres no longer convert into Emeralds. Instead, they can feed into the Catalyst/Fusion system. So old resources you may have saved are still useful — just for a different purpose. 🗺️ AREA OF CONQUEST Guild PvP now includes Area of Conquest. This is a live guild-versus-guild map where players: Capture villages Hold settlements Fight over map positions Upgrade their castle Compete through ELO-style matchmaking It is also an important source of: Golden Threads These feed the War Flag pattern system. The community has jokingly nicknamed it: Area of Complaints for reasons returning players will probably understand after a few rounds. 🛡️ TERRITORY OF TITANS Titans also received their own version: Territory of Titans This uses a similar live-map structure but with Titan teams. Important rewards include: Primal Catalysts Elemental Catalysts which connect directly back into Totem Fusion. 🏆 GUILD PRESTIGE REWORK Guild Prestige has also changed. The system now includes: Free progression Paid ticket track Higher guild requirements Progressing through Prestige requires noticeably more guild effort than before. Returning guilds should expect a much more demanding system. 🎼 NEW ASGARD RAID BOSS Osh is no longer the only major Asgard Raid challenge. There is also: The Maestro of the Phantom Orchestra This boss has its own buff-selection system. Choosing the right buffs becomes a major part of optimizing damage. 🌟 ASCENSION SEASONS Hero progression has another recurring system: Ascension Seasons Each season focuses on one hero and introduces new Ascension Skills. Players earn Season Experience by using that featured hero in modes such as: Campaign Arena Grand Arena Dungeon Guild War Clash of Worlds There are free and paid reward tracks. Martha is currently the featured Ascension hero. 🏝️ MYSTERIOUS ISLAND Mysterious Island is still here, but now it changes regularly.
