Currently Playing: The Book of Enoch: Dead Sea Scrolls, John Dee, and Ancient Aliens

The Book of Enoch has fallen angels taking wives, giants eating the world empty, and a first-century church fight where Jude calls Enoch a prophet. Then it runs through Qumran, Ethiopian monasteries, John Dee's angel sessions, and a paperback asking whether Adam and Eve saw a UFO. In 1587, John Dee and Edward Kelley signed a secret covenant after an angelic session told them their two households had to hold all things in common. The trail runs back to Jude, who's tearing into unnamed people at a church meal, grabbing Enoch's words, and calling the old patriarch a prophet. Under Assyrian palace floors, people buried fish-cloaked clay guardians. On Mount Hermon, two hundred Watchers swear an oath. Azazel hands out weapons and eye paint, then the giants eat through everything in sight. Cave 4 later gives us broken Aramaic scraps, the Book of Giants, cigarette boxes full of fragments, and a conservation room where people had signs saying: DON'T BREATHE. Tertullian starts treating Roman makeup and jewelry like angel-taught contraband. Monks in Ethiopia keep copying the complete text by hand while Greek scraps die out elsewhere. James Bruce carries Ethiopian copies into Europe. Dee fills forty-nine-by-forty-nine grids with material he says came from angels, von Däniken turns Enoch into alien genetics, and a modern paperback asks whether Adam and Eve saw a UFO. Where the paper gives us nothing, I say so. DISCLAIMER: Every image in this video is sourced from the public domain or generated using AI technology.
