GPT-6 Astra can now control Revit through MCP and the results are seriously impressive. In this video, I connect GPT-6 Astra with Autodesk Revit using Revit MCP and test how far AI-powered BIM automation can actually go. From creating Revit sheets and renaming families to generating schedules and even modeling a complete house, I wanted to see whether AI can perform real Revit and BIM tasks not just answer questions. I start with the complete GPT-6 Astra + Revit MCP setup and then put the connection through increasingly difficult tests. I gave GPT-6 Astra a relatively simple architectural brief for a four-bedroom house with setbacks, parking, bathrooms and a courtyard and let it work directly inside Revit. Around 14 minutes later, it had generated a model along with plans, sections, elevations and sheets. This doesn't mean architects or BIM professionals are disappearing tomorrow, but AI agents connected directly to design software could fundamentally change how repetitive modeling, documentation and BIM management tasks are performed.
