We’re told the ruins of Abu Rawash were once a pyramid complex belonging to King Khufu’s 4th dynasty successor and son, Djedefre, but what we see today is really just a huge trench and pit, with a few courses of stone. The site is not very well understood, is in a terrible state of preservation, and it's therefore subject to much speculation, so in this video we’ll take a closer look. Was this site once an ancient pyramid? Was it finished or unfinished? Or could it in fact be the remains of an early solar temple? Watch this video to learn more.
