Arguably some of the most enigmatic features of the Great Pyramid are its four small channels, two of which emanate from the Queen’s Chamber, and two from the King’s. The latter two go all the way from the chamber to the edge of the pyramid, but the two from the Queen’s Chamber end abruptly inside the core masonry. For decades now, a number of leading Egyptologists have called these four channels ‘star shafts’, an idea adopted by many independent and alternative researchers as well, and it’s been repeated so often that many just accept it as fact – that the four channels were created to point to the stars.
