Up until 2003, Laura Jackson was a typical 8th grade girl. That spring, Laura participated in tryouts for her High School cheerleading team. During tryouts, Laura performed a back tuck without a spotter. Despite her experience as both a cheerleader and gymnast, Laura landed on her neck, rather then her feet.
