After crossing Europe in part one, the Cummins Daimler Limo still hasn’t had enough punishment… In this episode, we begin our journey home from Bormio, Italy, driving through the stunning mountain passes of Italy and Switzerland — and of course, things go wrong immediately. From overheating every few miles to topping the coolant up with mountain melt water, this day turns into a full-blown endurance test. What was supposed to be a two-day drive home turns into 26 hours non-stop, across multiple countries, no sleep, and plenty of bodges. The limo breaks down on the motorway in the middle of the night, but after some quick thinking (and a destroyed fuel solenoid), we get it running again and somehow make it back to Devon.
