It's been a long, challenging road, but this week marks a huge milestone. I’m tackling the final stages of drywall finishing — applying the third coat of mud, skimming the walls for a smooth finish, and carefully sanding down any imperfections. Once that’s done, I’m priming the walls and seeing the incredible transformation as the space finally starts to feel like a home. Learning to mud and finish drywall has been one of the hardest (but most rewarding) skills I’ve picked up during this build — and doing it mostly by myself makes it even more satisfying.
