Today I’m tackling a big project: building a 31-foot long faux beam to cover the structural LVL that runs across our living room ceiling. Behind the insulation, vapor barrier, and strapping, we also have wiring that needed to pass under the beam to reach the other side of the house. Now it's time to make it all look beautiful and seamless — and I’m excited to show you how I'm making this fake beam look real!
