Sheree and Paul Walker have a wooden ride-on rocking motor-bike that needs the attention of wood specialist Will Kirk. This unusual toy was bought by Sheree's late dad Bob, a passionate motor bike enthusiast who even raced in the Isle of Man TT and who wanted to pass on his passion for biking to his grandkids. Unfortunately during Bob's battle with dementia, the bike was stored in the garden under a tarpaulin leaving it tarnished and less than its best - but now Sheree and Paul would like to see it back up and running for their children to enjoy, and to keep Bob's memory alive. Master cobbler Dean Westmoreland is put through his paces when Neil Scott and his granddaughter Saadia arrive with a custom-made pair of running shoes, complete with metal spikes on the soles. Neil wore these racing spikes to compete and win in countless running events throughout his life. He began running in the 1940's and won gold at the Amateur Athletics Association 100 yards event twice! He's just celebrated his 90th birthday and would like to have the shoes preserved to stand testament to his impressive achievements and remind him of those halcyon days. It certainly is a marathon restoration – the shoes are so dry the leather is disintegrating and a tear close to the sole requires an ingenious fix form Dean. Finally, Tom Rollason comes to see the bear ladies with a lifelong friend, Blue Bear. Blue Bear was given to Tom when he was a new-born baby by his mum. Tom was born prematurely and spent many weeks in an incubator with Blue Bear to keep him company. The bear represents the close bond that Tom and his mum still have but he's looking a little worn, his nose is gone, he's missing an eye too and l really do with some rejuvenating TLC from Amanda and Julie.
