However, he soon reveals that hidden inside is a secret radio dating back to the Second World War. It was concealed by Vos's grandfather, Anton so he could furtively listen to news of the allied war effort. At the time, it was Anton's only means of getting reliable information and Vos believes he passed on what he heard to friends in the resistance movement. Anton was clearly taking a huge risk; the Nazis had prohibited the use of radios, and anyone caught with one risked severe punishment. Restoring the radio and preserving the memories of Anton's brave deed is a job for electronics expert Mark Stuckey. Both Brenton and Dom cannot believe their luck when Vanessa Tyler arrives with her bee keeping kit. Both experts dabble in bee keeping themselves and are only too happy to help get the old honey extractor and smoker back to full working order. Vanessa's father bestowed the great honour of taking care of his bees on her when he passed away. He kept bees since he was a boy and continued to do so into his 80s. It was his true passion in life. Vanessa remembers the many hives in the family's garden and has learnt all she knows about bees from her dear dad. However, the equipment that has served them well for decades is now on its last legs so Brenton and Dom pool all their metal mastery to get them up and running again. Finally, a large swivel ball chair is the final item to arrive at the barn. It's a job for upholsterer Sonnaz Nooranvary and metal worker Dominic Chinea. The stylish chair was bought by current owner Nina Tillet's aunt and uncle, Janice and Tim in the 1970's. The chair became a firm family favourite and Nina remembers spending many fun filled hours whizzing around in the chair with her cousins. Nina was given the chair when her uncle died, and her aunt moved house. The memories the chair holds makes Nina smile but it's far from the design classic it once was. The foam cushions have deteriorated, the fabric needs replacing and the exterior needs a revamp. The chairs complex curves present Sonnaz with an incredibly tough assignment but with Doms help the chair is given a new lease of life.
