In this multipart series I explore the phenomenon of interpreting "Bible Prophecy" and why it has utterly disappointed its devotees and adherents through the ages--with a 100% rate of failure! We look at both the texts of the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament, but also the long history of interpretation and predictions of the end of the age, beginning with the Dead Sea Scroll group around 100 BCE, all the way down to our own time--which has proven to be a heyday of Prophetic Schemes and Predictions.

In this video I take a look at the First Messiah in Jewish history--the Messiah BEFORE Jesus, who flourished in the late 2nd Temple period--100 years before Jesus and his movement. We don't even know the name of this Mystery Man, but he has influenced history as much as anyone from the ancient world--and yet we did not even know of his existence until 1947 when the Dead Sea Scrolls were found.
