Without fail when I make a filet mignon video, I get French people upset that I call it filet mignon. Kosher salt is also a thing. It’s called kosher salt because it has no additives like iodine or anti caking agents. Diamond crystal kosher salt is also pretty much the industry standard because the larger grains make it much easier to season without over seasoning. been using it for 17 years and I struggle with proper seasoning when I use any other salt because it’s just what I am used to. #cooking #personalchef #privatechef #food
