It was supposed to be a simple shopping trip...until none of our cards would work. 🫠😂 After a very long few days of cleaning up after the dogs (who may or may not have been eating the decorative dates falling into our garden 🤦🏼‍♀️🐶💩), Alessia and I decided to escape the house and have a little mother-daughter day together. We head to La Cañada to exchange one of Jonathan's tops, grab lunch at Starbucks (the food is honestly SO much better in Spain! ☕️), make a very important stop at Dunkin' for Alessia's favourite Biscoff Dunkaccino, and then...things take a very embarrassing turn when neither Alessia's card OR any of mine will work while trying to pay. 🙈 Thankfully the rest of the day goes much more smoothly as we stock up on groceries, hunt for bedding (which turned out to be far more confusing than expected thanks to Spanish bed sizes 😂), and celebrate with Nutella crêpes before heading home. Back at home, it's back to reality with grocery unpacking, a quick dip in the pool, a very simple healthy dinner, yet another mountain of laundry, fresh bedding for Edie and one very exhausted mum by the end of the day. 🤍 Thanks so much for watching!
