So. This is one of the edits where I had the song for a long long time but never had material to edit with, and then when I finally watched this movie, the edit got stuck on the one initial idea I had until I decided to dig more into the novel. Generally I don't wade into LGBT category (as I consider myself fujoshi and personally think LGBT and BL should be seaprated), but after reading a interview with the author himself, who emphasizes that the original novel wasn't about LGBT, but about yearning, about the nature of want (which honestly was very loud and clear in the movie anyway), I decided that should be the focus point of this edit as well and this was the result.
