We walk through the installation process and test what actually works on the Tegra 3 platform. While the lack of 3D acceleration makes modern web browsing and media playback a struggle, there is a silver lining. With the original Touch Cover, this tablet transforms into a fantastic, portable Linux terminal. If you have an old Surface RT gathering dust, this might be the best way to give it a second life.
