The Bodach is the pinnacle boss of the Ritual league in Path Of Exile 2, sealed beneath Caer Tarth by a goddess who took herself apart to build its cage. It is also a real monster, borrowed out of Gaelic and Scottish Highland folklore, and it is not the only thing in the Wildwood that is. The Sisters Three are the Morrígna of Irish myth, carried across almost letter for letter. The Draíocht is simply the Irish word for magic. The Taisce is a cache, a thing kept safe and laid away. And every one of the fifty-one voice lines The Bodach speaks is in Gaelic, the language its own legend was born in. This is the full story and lore of The Bodach in Path Of Exile 2.
