And just like that, I’ve arrived in Italy. In an instant, the language changed from French to Italian. This is Courmayeur, in the northwest of Italy, at the foot of Mont Blanc, a mountain resort town at an altitude of 1,224 meters. From Chamonix in France to Courmayeur and back, it only took me five hours. I’m roaming around this ancient town in the Alps. Today is the 20th day of my solo trip across Europe at age 22. Ready?
