I set a photo of Budapest as my phone wallpaper and told myself: "In 2025, I will see this place with my own eyes." Back then, I had no idea what the next few months would hold. All I knew was that I wanted to set off and see the wider world. And today, half a year later, at 22 years old, I am actually standing right here, all by myself. In this episode, I’ve come to the capital of Hungary—Budapest. Walking into the Hungarian National Museum, crossing the Chain Bridge over the Danube River, and waiting for nightfall at Buda Castle, I’ve personally fulfilled the goal that once only existed on my phone screen. But the meaning of this journey goes beyond just achieving a dream, because this place also happens to be the final stop of my solo European adventure at 22. From the moment I first stepped foot in Europe to traveling across different countries and cities, all those times I got lost, the unexpected encounters, and the challenges faced alone have finally brought me here. So, this episode isn't just a Budapest travel vlog. It feels more like drawing a beautiful full stop to this solo European journey of over a month. Welcome to Budapest.
