The snow grew deeper, and in that moment, something completely unexpected happened. Strangely, I wasn’t afraid. For the first time, I felt it clearly— my life force was stronger than I had ever imagined. I kept moving forward, step by step, on my own feet, and saw views that only those who truly walk this far are able to see. It wasn’t until I made my way back down the mountain that I suddenly realized— I had come so much farther than I thought. Just like life, we often forget how far we’ve already come, forget how hard our past selves worked to bring us to where we are now. What happened on that mountain that day completely changed the way I see myself.
