This is episode one of three about Quickshot's career. Quickshot got going in esports playing Call of Duty and one way or another found his way to Berlin and began working there for a company. Happenstance afforded him a chance to commentate a League of Legends game which turned out to feature Moscow Five, the best team, losing and thus garnered him some attention. Getting gigs like MLG Summer Arena 2012 and Dreamhack Winter 2013 he made his name in the game and was picked up to work as one of a small talent crew for the first ever season of the EU LCS in 2013. It wasn't long before Quickshot made his first Worlds appearance, hosting the infamous desk where MonteCristo blew the train whistle for T1, and the rest is very much history. In his tenure the EU LCS welcomed many famous talents and went from a broadcast giving a piggyback to the NA LCS to its own distinct entity, the LEC, with a unique culture and flair not seen on other broadcasts. As time went on Quickshot played a pivotal role in defining a number of aspects of the broadcast and continued to work the big international events. In the spring of 2024 Quickshot announce, to the shock of some fans, that he had mutually agreed to part ways with Riot Games and the LEC and chart a new course. In part one, Quickshot talks about his early days as a gamer, getting into League of Legends commentary, the first big events abroad, becoming an EU LCS man and working with the likes of Joe Miller.
