This opens up new, simple, and flexible ways to dynamically customise your service mesh. We will employ a practical approach to demonstrate how recent advancements in WASM have made it feasible to build sophisticated routing features, dynamically debug requests on the fly, implement application firewall use cases, and enforce network policies which could be very challenging to achieve using native Istio configs. We'd demo solving the above use cases by using Proxy-Wasm Go SDK and deploying the WASM modules in a multicluster environment to showcase the ease of development, maintainability, and agility of the WASM plugins in your networking infrastructure.
