Philippines' Most Shocking Stories (FULL EPISODES)

Currently Playing: EP 34: The Finish Line — Murder of Race Car Driver Enzo Pastor | Philippines’ Most Shocking Stories

Hosted by reporter Jeff Caparas, this episode looks into the 2014 killing of race car champion Ferdinand “Enzo” Pastor, who was ambushed while driving to Pampanga for a race. A gunman approached his truck at a Quezon City intersection and shot him, while his mechanic, Paolo Salazar, survived the attack. The investigation linked businessman Domingo “Sandy” de Guzman III to the killing and later tagged Enzo’s wife, Dalia Guerrero Pastor, as a possible co-conspirator. Authorities alleged that a relationship between Dalia and De Guzman was behind the plot. De Guzman and Dalia have denied the allegations, while the case against them relied heavily on circumstantial evidence and statements that were later challenged and, in the case of the alleged gunman, partly retracted. Years later, the Supreme Court revived the case against Dalia, ruling in 2024 that probable cause existed and reinstating the arrest warrant and hold-departure order against her. She remains at large. “Philippines’ Most Shocking Stories” is a YouTube series from ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs that looks back into real-life events that stunned the nation — stories that made headlines, triggered investigations and sparked public outcry.
