This video is Part 2 of a series covering Jack the Ripper and the Whitechapel Murders. Part 5 will be uploaded soon Part 1: https://youtu.be/Q270jBXpYWo Part 3: https://youtu.be/L8zyUEucukk Part 4: https://youtu.be/JNYdCW9T3zg Between April 1888 and February 1891, 11 woman would be violently murdered in and around the impoverished Whitechapel District in the East End of London. None of these 11 murders have ever been solved, and all that Scotland Yard could really say for sure is that they were probably not all committed by the same person, but they're kinda certain that Jack the Ripper at least killed 5 of these woman. Thousands of suspects have been investigated, but only one has a direct link with one of the victims. In this series, we'll cover the Jack the Ripper and Whitechapel Murders timeline, as well as the theory that the real name of Jack the Ripper could have possibly been 'Joseph Barnett' - the last boyfriend of final Ripper victim, Mary Jane Kelly #unsolvedmysteries #whitechapelmurders #truecrimestories #coldcases #murdermystery ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Information Sources: Dr. Frederick Walker – Joseph Barnett https://www.casebook.org/dissertations/barn-art.html Jack the Ripper.Org – Joseph Barnett https://www.jack-the-ripper.org/joseph-barnett.htm Mary Jane Kelly https://www.casebook.org/victims/mary_jane_kelly.html Jack the Ripper Tour – Joseph Barnett https://thejacktherippertour.com/casebook/suspects/was-joseph-barnett-jack-the-ripper/ Whitechapel Murders https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whitechapel_murders Joseph Barnett https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Barnett_(Jack_the_Ripper_suspect) Elizabeth Stride https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_Stride Jack the Ripper https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_the_Ripper Mary Jane Kelly https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Jane_Kelly ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Credits: Video and B Roll Sourced from Clipchamp: the Dronalist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Djyc9wsoF2E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEpWrGKb8Qs&t=27s Creative Commons: Essex Wharf, Durward Street, 1988 - geograph.org.uk - 1618783.jpg https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0/deed.en SH5 - Polly Nichols.png https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/deed.en -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
