The far eye ends up too big, the nose floats, the ear lands in the wrong place. In this video I draw a three quarter view portrait from a blank page with the Loomis method and show you what actually changes when the head rotates: where the center line moves, how the side plane shows up, how the brow line tells you which way the head is facing, and where the ear really sits once the face is turned. Then I take it all the way to a shaded pencil drawing so you can see how the construction disappears into the finished portrait.
