In Brotato, getting hit gives you invulnerability frames, whose length is reduced the further you go into endless until you take damage 1 tick, invulnerability 1 tick and repeat. This loop can happen up to 30 times a second or in other words, there are 60 ticks in a second. To reach immortality, you need 1800 Tardigrades mathematically speaking, assuming you have 0 weapons, 0 ways to knock back, 0 dodge etc, because then you'll have 1800 damage ticks secured while having 1800 invulnerability ticks due to taking damage, adding up to 3600 ticks (60 seconds x 60 ticks = 3600 ticks per wave). To say reaching 1800 Tardigrades is absurd is drastically underselling the endeavour. Even with mods to make everything faster (like auto recycling, 5x speed etc.) it still took almost 6 hours. This can be entirely done on unmodded Brotato in case you want to try it out, but get ready to open 800+ Crates a round that you have to individually recycle and accept, while also waiting over 5 hours just playing out the loop of Wave 20 (200 Hourglass x 90 seconds = 18000 seconds = 300 minutes = 5 hours). The 5 hours is ONLY wave timer, which doesn't include recycling items, rolling the shop etc. Brotato is a top-down arena shooter roguelite where you play a potato wielding up to 6 weapons at a time to fight off hordes of aliens. Choose from a variety of traits and items to create unique builds and survive until help arrives. Note: not all mods are always active/used, but it gets annoying to constantly adjust the list.
