This is a severe cost to his scaling overall, but one thing doesn't care about that at all: Giant's Belt. In general, Shurikens can struggle a lot to get going, but with 2 additional projectiles it's easier to cover yourself, making sure you need less attack speed and range to get to a point of safety, but now it's even more important to scale up damage until you reach the point of insanity.
