Hey folks, we hit 100K subscribers. That’s right, a YouTube channel about chunky goldfish hit 100K. When I tell people I have an online audience of this size and my whole channel is about goldfish, sometimes they get confused. “How are that many people interested in goldfish??” Sometimes I get surprised myself that there are that many people that enjoy my goldfish as much as I do, but it goes to show that whatever your passion may be, there are likely thousands, or millions of other people out there with the same interests! A little over a year ago all I had was around 5K followers on instagram and thats it, but from then until now I’ve gained a following of 3.2 million on TikTok, 194K on instagram, and now 160K here on YouTube! There is an audience for everything, and anyone can grow on social media if they remain dedicated and continually post in times of channel growth and channel contraction. If I can do it at the same time while obtaining a chemical engineering degree, then you can too! Take advantage of the new age of short videos!
