This week’s books are home to some big ideas and big time changes. New story arches set new status quos, mysteries are solve, potential is realized and a few titles get big time ballzee with their topics. The Tithe launches its second story arch with a big time plot shake up. In the process of setting up a new norm the book wanders into some very heavy and controversial topics. This book will offend people and AJ explains why that is a good thing. Exit Generation is a book with a handicapping case of ADD. Unable to focus on a tone or topic for more than a panel Exit Generation struggles to figure out exactly what the hell it wants to tell its readers. Deadpool vs. Thanos! The world’s most vanilla super powered grudge match! A book that should have been a wild good time ends up being predictable and bland. Empty Zone finally makes sense! Well as much as a book about a chick with a robot arm seeking vengeance against a cyborg zombie producing company can make sense. Empty Zone gets some much needed clarification in this issue and becomes a stronger series for it. We Are Robin #4 is one of the best single issues of the year. The series has finally made the most of its potential and become one of DC’s best titles.
