Kenza's testimonial after week one of Fluid Isometrics treatment with Deanna Hansen. “Today is November 8th and we are starting a five day project with Kenza. So Kenza, can you tell me what happened to you?” “Yes about two and a half, a little over two and a half years ago when I was 18 years old, I was crossing the street on my bike and was hit by a car and the impact broke my neck, pushed my C6 vertebrae back to my understanding, and left me with a spinal cord injury. Rendered me a quadriplegic.” “What's your range of motion with this one? Can you stabilize while you lift your arms? That much and then you would fall? So that’s as far as she can retract?” “Ya.” “Okay we just finished the last day of our intensive five day. Kenza if I could get you to move your arms a little bit so we can just see what your back is doing. Wow, huge change. Wonderful. Okay so we've just completed again day five and how are you doing?” “I’m doing great let’s see... yeah like I said I'm feeling my core more today, we did more work on my neck. A lot more shoulder integration as you were saying, I have more range lifting my arms above my head you can especially see from the back, my back is straighter, my spine is straighter, my spine is straighter and it's getting straighter.” “And you were noticing when you were moving that you felt your core starting to connect in?” “Right and even when I sit back, it'll respond like my body knows that there’s a change and that it has something to get used to now so it will move a bit. Like "oh hey, that's new", and that's exciting!” “And what about your temperature?” “Oh, um last night, I didn't have a blanket on my legs all night and my mom felt my feet and they were warm and that usually doesn't happen, they're at least pretty cool. So that's exciting, more circulation.” “Absolutely, good job! Thank you!” For more information visit http://fluidisometrics.com
