A song about love amid the thunder and hardships of war. The arrangement was created during a rotation prior to the 2024 RVC operation at the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant. Recorded at Kvasir Cauldron Studio between 2024 and 2025. Alexey — music and vocals, Kateryna — vocals, Sorcerer Baron de Bellême — lyrics. Where the vast blue sea Gazes uneasily into the dawn, Demons—or perhaps the gods— Have mingled fire with ice. My gods can be cruel at times; Their signs are dark as night, Forever distant, like the stars, And the maidens of battle are always blind. But you came to me in a dream—and, you know, Here, beneath the thunder of cannon fire, The constellations, brushing against the heavens, Speak to me of you. Once more I stand beneath the leaden wind— Not that it is such a terrible fate, For the sky rings with your laughter, And my songs taste bitter with you. You came to me in a dream—and still, Even through the thunder of cannon fire, All rivers make their way towards the sea, And all birds fly north. Where the vast blue sea Gazes uneasily into the dawn, Demons—or perhaps the gods— Have mingled fire with ice.
