I’ve discovered a new and amazing way to display summer flowering bulbs. Instead of planting several varieties in one pot I’ve designed a scheme using three pots of different sizes with a different type of bulb in each. In this video I show you how using the ‘rule of three’ when it comes to pots enables you to add depth and variety to your display. In the lowest pot, cascading begonias, in the middle pot, tall lilies and in the biggest pot, dahlias. Once they are in bloom this display will be like a mini garden in its own right! It's the perfect way to light up a patio, a balcony or even a doorstep. In our YouTube garden I’ve found the ideal spot for it - on a small patio overlooking the pond. These colourful pots will make be a stunning focal point from different parts of the garden.
