All gardens start with an entrance. It's an important feature to get right if you want to make your garden feel welcoming and enticing. In this video I show you how to do it by transforming the entrance to our YouTube garden from dark and oppressive to light and colourful. I take two large urns that were painted black and paint them a lighter colour thats more in keeping with a cottage garden. I then choose a complimentary planting scheme of pinks, pale blues and trailing ivy to bring both urns to life. And finally I put the urns into position to frame the view up the garden. It’s a simple makeover but an effective one!
