25-Year Attorney REACTS! Context: This bodycam and dashcam breakdown examines the July 3, 2025 Shorewood, Wisconsin shooting involving Victoria Truss and Michael P. Griffin Jr., followed by a high-speed police chase and deadly shootout in Milwaukee. According to public reports and investigative records, Truss was killed after a domestic-violence-related confrontation, her landlord was shot, and a Shorewood police officer was struck in the vest when responding officers came under fire. Hours later, police located Griffin’s black Mercedes using Flock camera information, leading to a pursuit through Glendale and Milwaukee. The chase ended near 6th and Reservoir, where officers say Griffin continued firing from the vehicle. A Glendale officer, Milwaukee officer, and FBI agent returned fire. Investigators later reported nine spent casings from inside Griffin’s car and 35 casings from law-enforcement weapons. The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office later found the officers’ use of force justified. In this criminal law breakdown, we analyze the likely charges if Griffin had survived, including first-degree intentional homicide, attempted murder of police officers, reckless endangerment, armed burglary issues, firearm enhancements, and potential sentencing exposure under Wisconsin law. We also examine why a missed shot or vest-stopped round can still be attempted murder, why each officer may count as a separate victim, and why police use-of-force law focuses on what officers knew in the first seconds of danger. This video covers bodycam, police shooting, domestic violence homicide, attempted murder, self-defense, officer use of force, criminal charges, sentencing, and Wisconsin criminal law.
