Currently Playing: Mario Kart World’s Battle Mode is AWFUL

Mario Kart World has been a very controversial launch title for the Nintendo Switch 2. A lot have taken issue with stuff like the tracks, online, free roam, and especially the price. However, one aspect that I haven’t seen discussed a ton is the battle mode! I personally think this is one of the worst battle modes in the entire series, and I think Nintendo needs to update it. Both balloon battle and coin runners are awful in mario kart world, which is such a shame coming off of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe having a fantastic battle mode.
