I started investing at 33, and 18 months later I’ve realised I made it much harder than it needed to be. In this video, I share the biggest investing mistakes I made as a beginner, from overthinking index funds and individual stocks to obsessing over returns and checking my portfolio too often. This isn’t financial advice, just my personal experience of learning to invest consistently, deal with uncertainty, and focus less on finding the perfect investment and more on building better investing habits. If you’re starting investing later than you hoped, or you’ve been waiting until you “know enough”, this video might help you finally get started.
