The ruins of the abandoned Koh Ker are located in the jungle in Northern Cambodia, 120 kilometers away from another famous Khmer temple complex - Angkor. The Koh Ker Ruins feature several Hindu temples, the most important one being a 7-tiered pyramid. The temple complex was added recently (2023) to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
