Introduction to SysML2 Part Usages demonstrating how to reuse a previously created Part Definition. Join the Trechoro Sysml v2 Insiders track: https://sparxsystems.com/support/forms/sysml-subscribe.html Stephen and Scott continue to explore the Definition-Usage paradigm in SysML as it applies to Parts. Stephen shows two ways to add a Part Usage to the model and the diagram by dragging a Part Definition from the Browser onto the diagram as a usage, which automatically creates the Feature Typing relationship and sets the attributes inherited from the Part Definition. Stephen goes on to redefine an attribute using the simplicity of the Features window, then uses the Expression Editor, with its color-coded syntax validation, to set an expression, assured that it is correct. The textual notation is generated and juxtaposed with the part view.
